in Montlouis The free tour reveals a maze of tunnels in which over two million
bottles await their day.

One enters the ancient limestone quarry dug into the base of the hillside
overlooking the river Loire, which once eased the transport of the quarried
blocks of lime-stone Indeed, since the Roman Empire until the early 20th
cent. limestone(tufa) was the primary building material in the region for
most of the Chateaux as well as for houses, and even entire towns.

Once inside our wine cellars/offices, you will learn about the evolution of
our wines including the various steps of the winemaking process and will
encourage you to sample the range of our production.
