In 1961, a group of 25 winegrowers with a total of 115 hectares of vineyards formed this
association in order to pursue together traditional wine making and maintain the highest
level of quality in the winemaking process.
All winemaking in the cellars is controlled by a Master Winemaker assisted by an
oenological engineer. The best wines are meticulously selected by a committee of tasters.
La Cave des Producteurs sells one third of the wines made under the label of origin
(AOC) “Montlouis s/Loire”, and stocks nearly 2,000,000 bottles in their cellars.
Having mastered traditional knowhow with
modern techniques, La Cave des Producteurs
has thus specialised in producing “Montlouis
according to traditional methods and are proud
of their numerous awards and prizes which
attest to the superior quality of their still wine
making.
